Modelpage Condor A750

USEFUL INFORMATION  - I understand from the USA dealer of the Chang Jiang, that a Condor owner in the USA has tried a Chang Jiang crankshaft in his 750cc Condor. The 750cc Condor crankshaft is the same, except that the connecting rods are a different length to the BMW R71 design. The useful information is that the Chang Jiang M1 (early 6 volt model) crankshafts are available new very easily in England and Germany at about 150 Euros. To machine new connecting rods of the correct length and split then rebuild the Chang Jiang crankshaft is not difficult, this may help those owners of 750cc Condors needing a new crankshaft. Hope this is of use, but you may know this already. Best regards Peter Ballard
